  • For the Dry Rub:
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Apple juice for spritzing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Grill
  • Preheat your Traeger grill to 225°F (107°C).
  • Prepare the Dry Rub
  • In a mixing bowl, combine:
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Apply the Rub
  • Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the baby back ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Cook the Ribs
  • Place the ribs on the grill grates, bone side down.
  • Cook for about 5 hours.
  • Every hour, spritz the ribs with apple juice to keep them moist.
  • Add BBQ Sauce
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • Rest and Serve
  • Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill.
  • Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of apple cider vinegar to the spritzing liquid.
Letting the ribs rest is crucial to keep them juicy.
